FAT Tonies : german skinhead Oi!
FAT Tonies are a new german skinhead band. They play good old school Oi! and seem to be a very promising band. They have a demo out called "Fuck the 80's" and they plan to record for a 10" or a full length before the end of 2014. The demo is 4 euros + postage from http://tapeordie.bigcartel.com

NEW ARRIVALS
BOOTBOYS SOCIAL CLUB. Bez pravidel - CD
New skinhead band from the city of Brno in the Czech Republic. They play in that typical Czech style, like for example Operace Artaban, however with a bit more guitars, power and aggression. Great catchy songs.
BRONSON. s/t - CD
New Roman band who somewhat remind of The Timebombs who were from the same city. Bronson brings an excellent mix of punk and hardcore with a lot of melody and singalong choruses. A very American-influenced sound, extremely catchy. All songs are nothing but excellent, apart maybe from the weird short electronic intermezzo.
BRUTAL COMBAT. RAC legends vol.1 - LP
Not really a band that needs much of an introduction. Features an old remastered demo of the band with versions of the songs that were never be released on vinyl before. The sound quality is rather poor, the remastering could have been done a lot better. It's a collectible record of course, because of its limited edition of 300 numbered copies, but one can question the added value of releases like this....
CODE 1. Beat the burglar - 7" single
Fast and aggressive punk-fuelled Oi! which reminds immediately of early The Exploited, with the title track being a take on "Beat the bastards". Altogether it is pretty basic Oi/ punk, reminiscent of the early 80's. Limited edition of 500 copies: 150 red, 150 white & 200 black.
EMPIRE FALLS. Black helicopters - CD
Latest album of the South Carolina hatecore band. True old-school hardcore with non-PC lyrics, as always. Hard as nails, and once again a great album. Bryan and Empire Falls, keep on delivering the goods. Nice big booklet with lyrics and band photos.
HOOLIGAN UK. Kids with bats - CD
English skinhead band from the greater Liverpool area. Just like a few of the other new British bands they have an important punk-influence in their sound, mixed in with Oi! Some songs even have some dub parts. They got the right attitude and look, but musically it is definitely more punk than skinhread.
KEN MCLELLAN. H8 balls of fire - CD
Ken McLellan and the Long Riders, sees Ken McLellan going rock'n'roll / southern rock / country, and the result may be heard! The backing band here is Los Confederados from Italy. Some of the songs sound a lot like other southern rock, blues rock type songs he has already done. Others like for example "Moonshine" are pure country. The last track "R.A.C. is my business" is bound to become a favourite. This album is a pleasant surprise and features some real good rock. Comes with a big booklet with all lyrics and some humourous photos...
KOMAKOLONNE. Ode an den suff - CD
Newest release of Jens of Sturmwehr's side-project Komakolonne. As before, this fifth album is all about drinking and partying. Rock with a hefty singalong dosis and melody, not unlike Sturmwehr itself, but without the political lyrics then and drinking songs like only the Germans would do.
LEGION OF ST. GEORGE. Ad finem - CD
Sixth full-length of the London band, and it's been 5 years since "Last talons of the eagle". This new album is a continuation of their earlier output, with the same distinct vocals and the same musical style, which has made the band so popular. 15 excellent songs again, which were well worth the wait. The big booklet includes all lyrics and also a lot of band photos. A must have!
MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT. Underground allegiance - CD
It's like 80s style hardcore punk meets abrasive Oi! These guys from Cadillac, Michigan, tell it like it is, no holding back. Fast, angry, raw, unpolished, spontaneous, truthful and non-PC.
MOTOSEGA. Veleno - CD
New band of Andrea of Italy's Porco 69. Hard rock mixed with skinhead rock, much in the style of Nativi who also happen to feature former Porco 69 members. It's quality as one has come to expect from the Italian RAC bands.
MURDERER'S ROW. Liberty denied - CD
Murderer's Row from Troy, NY, are back with their 6th album. North American thug rock, way less Oi! sounding than before, more heavy rock. Some songs sound like current Brutal Attack musically as well as what the singing is concerned, minus the political lyrics obviously. Others are faster, and more of a mixture of Oi!, punk and hardcore. It's all very powerful and mature sounding, not all that surprising with the musical track record of the band's members.
PARIAS. s/t - CD
French band with members of Frakass, and while Frakass has moved on to a harder metal sounding style, Parias is more traditional RAC rock, like the old Frakass, but lyrically also to the point.
T.M.F.. Fuck the system - 7" single
Brilliant new T.M.F. tracks, a teaser for the upcoming album.

17 Oi! bands from ariund the worl giving it their best. Features Saints & Sinners (CZ), Uchitel Truda (RU), Bronco Army (BR), Keotik (ID), The Black Marias (UK), Scumheads Knigsberg (RU), Bristol Bulldogs (ES), Bleach Battalion (US), Moonstomp (ID), Broken Glasses (GR), The Skunx (CA), The Dilligafs (SF), Bootboys (CL), Breakout (ID), Shaved Heads (RU), Oldfashioned Ideas (SW) and Vindicate This! (SW). As always with compilations it features some good bands and some not so good, but overall the quality of the bands is decent enough and it's a good way of discovering some lesser-known bands.
UNBROKEN BROTHERHOOD. Compilation - CD
Hungarian & Polish RAC compilation featuring some well established bands from both countries and some newer bands. All quality material.
WARLORDS / TRUE GRIT. Oi! the split volume 1 - 7" EP
Split 7" between The Warlords from Los Angeles and True Grit from Toronto, both bringing traditional skinhead Oi! with their own twist. True Grit is the best band on here, having an original song that doesn't sound generic at all and which keeps you longing for more. Comes in a folding sleeve with lyrics and photos, a mp3 download card and a label sticker. Limited to 300 copies.

PARIS VIOLENCE have a new 2-song single available, "Secret-Dfonce", in the style of their "La dernire garde". Limited to 50 copies only, with 2 different covers and 2 different vinyl colours. It can be ordered straight from the band atparis.violence.free.fr/catalogue%20-3_fr.htm.
To be out soon: a split CD with NO SURRENDER (Greece) and EMPIRE FALLS (USA). Other news from Greece is that their organisation has a new website 28hellas2.blogspot.com.
The old German band KRAFT DURCH FROIDE are back, and are currently in the studio recording their new album, which is due out in June. The pressing will include a limited metal-box version of 100 copies. The sound will be comparable to that of their "Wunschkonzert" album; pure skinhead RAC'n'roll with the typical sarcastic KdF-style lyrics. The band is also planning to start playing live again.

NEW ADDITIONS
3:2 PRO MH. 17th anniversary - CD
The band 3:2 Pro MH has obviously been around for a long time already, but this is only their first official release. It contains 17 re-recorded songs from older CDR albums and demos. Their music is solid, traditional-sounding Czech Oi! / skinhead rock, with lyrics about booze, football and our way of life. On the song "Hymrovi", they get some assistance from the ex-vocalist of Pilsner Oiquell and the bass player of Neparkovat Vjezd. Nice booklet with lyrics and photos.
AUFBRUCH / MAS QUE PALABRAS. United 1 - CD
Split album of the German and Spanish bands, who both contribute 6 tracks. Both play heavy hardcore, Aufbruch somewhat more metalcore, and Mas Que Palabras straight on hardcore, unlike the RAC / hardcore hybrid from their album. Surprisingly enough, Aufbruch have 2 songs in Spanish as well and they're not bad at all. Really a good album, more than worth picking up, even though the bands are not the biggest names out there.
AUFBRUCH / ORGULLO NACIONAL. United 2 - CD
Aufbruch are back with another split album, and again with a band that sings in Spanish, their third already after Nuremberg and Mas Que Palabras. This time they team up with Orgullo Nacional from Colombia. Aufbruch's sound has changed compared to the first "United" split, the hardcore sound is almost completely gone and they have swapped for a much more typical German sound combining RAC with some metal. Once again they do a superb song in Spanish. Orgullo Nacional is Colombia's longest-going RAC band and have been around for well over 15 years. Their sound is RAC rock with a bit more guitar, but not all out metal.
BISHOPS GREEN. Pressure - CD
Bishops Green was possibly the best new band on the scene in 2013 with their impressive debut, a heady mix of '77 punk rock, streetpunk and Oi that was insanely catchy and irresistible. Topping that with a second album is nearly impossible, but they sure did it. Luckily enough it's not just a copy of their first, they have expanded and matured their sound. This album has much more of a '77 punk sound, very melodic and singalong, and it many ways it reminds of The Crack at their very best, with a sound that is also much more English than North American. And the band isn't just a one-trick pony, they're able to switch between different types of sounds. While they may speed up or slow down a bit on this record, the sound is purely and completely Bishops Green. It's early in the year, but this one will definitely be on the shortlist of best albums of 2014!!

We're proud to release and present the 30 years anniversary album of South America's longest going skinhead band. The album features some of their old classics re-recorded in a good studio and more powerful sounding than ever, plus some covers of classic Argentinean streetpunk tracks and a few great new songs. Concrete is one of the best new US bands out there. Heavy that is the first word that comes to mind when listening to this album; deep rough heavy vocals add a dark menacing feel to the whole record. A very tough and aggressive sound not unlike Razorblade or Battle Ruins with a touch of Sheer Terror. This limited edition digipack - 300 copies only - features their long sold out debut "We are all reapers here" which originally came out on Cadre Productions and the songs off their new 7" EP "Subculture street trooper".
HUETRAMANNALAND. Land of the white gods - CD
You might remember Huetramannaland from their appearance on the "Unsere welt" compilation from 2001. On this album, you get the complete studio recordings of the Colombian RAC band, from the initial demo to recent recordings, and you can clearly hear the band's evolution. Musically they offer a mix of melodic RAC with elements of viking rock / metal, including a Legion 88 cover. 9 songs with a playing time of 36 minutes, and at a nice price.
KILL BABY KILL. Product of society - CD
Repress of the band's third album. The best skinhead rock around, from one of the best and most popular bands ever. Powerful rock rooted in traditional Oi! and Aussie-style rock. This pressing features the 10 tracks of the original album plus 4 bonus tracks taken off the "Give it back again" and "Garrison 2" albums.
LEGION. Lata walk ulicznych - CD
Classic Polish RAC from 1992, the band's debut, originally only released on cassette. Legion was one of the best early Polish RAC bands and it already shows on this early demo release: a solid RAC rock sound with melody and good vocals. The sound quality could have been better, but considering when it was recorded and that it was a demo only, it is more than reasonable. This is a unique chance to check out this band as the cassette has been impossible to find for years already.
LEGION. My nowe pokolenie - CD
The classic Polish RAC band's second release from 1994. While the first was just a demo, this came out as a proper cassette album on Fan Records, the label that also launched bands like Konkwista 88 and Honor. On this album is much more nationalist rock sounding than traditional punk-influenced RAC, lots of slower instrumental parts in the songs.
LEITKULTUR. Heimat ist nicht nur ein wort - CD
Band with Jens of Sturmwehr and Sturm 18 members, their second album after "Der wurzeln beschnitten". Leitkultur can however not be compared to the two aforementioned bands at all. Leitkultur brings modern identity rock, with touches of goth and somewhat bombastic, clearly influenced by the sound of Rahowa. Different from your run-of-the-mill RAC band, but it all fits: the vocals and excellent musicianship. The result is impressive.
LEGITIME AUTO-DEFENSE. s/t - LP
Skinhead band from the Alsace region of France who have large passed under the radar. The songs on this album were recorded in 21009 & 2010, and have now been released on vinyl LP only by Bords De Seine, 250 copies have been pressed. Now, on to the band's music: their is no constant in their sound, some songs are Oi!, others more punk, then you have reggae tracks, a French army-style chant, a bit of rock'n'roll,... It's as if they just had a great time fooling around in the studio and recorded anything they could think of, good or bad, relevant or not. And there are some decent songs on the LP, but a better idea would have been to just take the best 3 - 4 songs and press those on a 7". The LP is collectible admittedly, and will ensure the band will always be remembered, but it'll never become a French classic.
OI! AINT DEAD VOL.2. Compilation 10" LP (White)
Four of today's best Oi! bands are each featured with 2 songs on this 10" mini-album. The songs are not exclusive, they were already featured on 7"s in the Rebellion Records / Pirates Press Records / Longshot Records "Under one flag" series, except for the Lion's Law songs which have not yet released before. This is Oi! in all its facets, from Bishops Green '77 punk style, Razorblade's heavy and aggressive sound to Lion's Law and Razorcut which are more classic Oi!-like. All great tracks without exception!

The title says it all of course. Second installment in the series of compilation of Oi! bands from the far east, with this time Cropped Men (Japan), The Botox (Thailand), Booted Cocks (Japan), The Exsenadors (Philippines), The Island Of Skins (Thailand), Moonstomp (Indonesia), V.S. Honour (Japan), The Bois (Singapore), Attacking Forces (Korea), No Escape (Japan), Rentenir (Indonesia), Steeltoe solutions (Malaysia) and Firey Jak (Indonesia). Most bands are quite OK, and the styles vary from melodic to hard Oi! to ska even. Comes with a big booklet with lyrics, photos of all the bands and band contacts, and includes the OBI strip.
SMART VIOLENCE. Herkunft & identitat - CD
Hard and rough skinhead rock from Germany, their first proper full length after their "Hard hitting skinhead rock" demo CD from 2013. A mix of Oi! and RAC sound-wise and even some punk and metal, but hard hitting is a constant in their sound. Their lyrics deal with the skinhead way of life, left wing poseurs, heritage and street-level politics without going into extremes. 14 tracks, 3 of which are in English.
V.S. HONOUR / FIREY JACK. Songs for hoolys - CD
Split album between the Japanese ska band V.S. Honour from Japan and the Oi! band Firey Jak from Indonesia. V.S. Honour play really good 2-tone era ska with a slight 60's influence. Firey Jak on the other hand is a casual band playing catchy and singalong Oi!, obviously football chant style.

The punk rock band SPIRIT OF THE PATRIOT has finished recording sets of tracks for 2 split albums. One album will be with Germany's ABTRIMO and the other will be with MAX RESIST. The band now has T-shirts for sale at www.hcstreetwear.net.

The new SKANADS song "Rude boy's on the rise" will be released as a 7inch vinyl single by Randale in May, backed with the Girls Next Door song "Too Late". The band has also started working on an album.
After doing a long run of shows RAZORCUT are starting work on a new 7 inch and then a full length album. They hope to tour Europe in 2015. The line up now features Brod and Al from Marching Orders.

Vulture Rock is looking for Snix pictures
Vulture rock need a photo of Snix. A real original photo. No copies. It's for a Snix 7" with rare tracks. The band stopped their emails. I sold all my originals. Preferably a photo with Jack, the second bass player. I will send your photo back , along with some copies of the 7". Any help needed !!! Really needed !!!
