NEW ADDITIONS

3:2 PRO MH. 17th anniversary - CD

The band 3:2 Pro MH has obviously been around for a long time already, but this is only their first official release. It contains 17 re-recorded songs from older CDR albums and demos. Their music is solid, traditional-sounding Czech Oi! / skinhead rock, with lyrics about booze, football and our way of life. On the song "Hymrovi", they get some assistance from the ex-vocalist of Pilsner Oiquell and the bass player of Neparkovat Vjezd. Nice booklet with lyrics and photos.

AUFBRUCH / MAS QUE PALABRAS. United 1 - CD

Split album of the German and Spanish bands, who both contribute 6 tracks. Both play heavy hardcore, Aufbruch somewhat more metalcore, and Mas Que Palabras straight on hardcore, unlike the RAC / hardcore hybrid from their album. Surprisingly enough, Aufbruch have 2 songs in Spanish as well and they're not bad at all. Really a good album, more than worth picking up, even though the bands are not the biggest names out there.

AUFBRUCH / ORGULLO NACIONAL. United 2 - CD

Aufbruch are back with another split album, and again with a band that sings in Spanish, their third already after Nuremberg and Mas Que Palabras. This time they team up with Orgullo Nacional from Colombia. Aufbruch's sound has changed compared to the first "United" split, the hardcore sound is almost completely gone and they have swapped for a much more typical German sound combining RAC with some metal. Once again they do a superb song in Spanish. Orgullo Nacional is Colombia's longest-going RAC band and have been around for well over 15 years. Their sound is RAC rock with a bit more guitar, but not all out metal.

BISHOPS GREEN. Pressure - CD

Bishops Green was possibly the best new band on the scene in 2013 with their impressive debut, a heady mix of '77 punk rock, streetpunk and Oi that was insanely catchy and irresistible. Topping that with a second album is nearly impossible, but they sure did it. Luckily enough it's not just a copy of their first, they have expanded and matured their sound. This album has much more of a '77 punk sound, very melodic and singalong, and it many ways it reminds of The Crack at their very best, with a sound that is also much more English than North American. And the band isn't just a one-trick pony, they're able to switch between different types of sounds. While they may speed up or slow down a bit on this record, the sound is purely and completely Bishops Green. It's early in the year, but this one will definitely be on the shortlist of best albums of 2014!!

COMANDO SUICIDA. 30 anos - CD

We're proud to release and present the 30 years anniversary album of South America's longest going skinhead band. The album features some of their old classics re-recorded in a good studio and more powerful sounding than ever, plus some covers of classic Argentinean streetpunk tracks and a few great new songs. It comes with a big booklet with lyrics, explanations to the songs and dozens of photos spanning the band's history from the start till now.

CONCRETE. We are all subculture street troopers - MCD

Concrete is one of the best new US bands out there. Heavy that is the first word that comes to mind when listening to this album; deep rough heavy vocals add a dark menacing feel to the whole record. A very tough and aggressive sound not unlike Razorblade or Battle Ruins with a touch of Sheer Terror. This limited edition digipack - 300 copies only - features their long sold out debut "We are all reapers here" which originally came out on Cadre Productions and the songs off their new 7" EP "Subculture street trooper".

HUETRAMANNALAND. Land of the white gods - CD

You might remember Huetramannaland from their appearance on the "Unsere welt" compilation from 2001. On this album, you get the complete studio recordings of the Colombian RAC band, from the initial demo to recent recordings, and you can clearly hear the band's evolution. Musically they offer a mix of melodic RAC with elements of viking rock / metal, including a Legion 88 cover. 9 songs with a playing time of 36 minutes, and at a nice price.

KILL BABY KILL. Product of society - CD

Repress of the band's third album. The best skinhead rock around, from one of the best and most popular bands ever. Powerful rock rooted in traditional Oi! and Aussie-style rock. This pressing features the 10 tracks of the original album plus 4 bonus tracks taken off the "Give it back again" and "Garrison 2" albums.

LEGION. Lata walk ulicznych - CD

Classic Polish RAC from 1992, the band's debut, originally only released on cassette. Legion was one of the best early Polish RAC bands and it already shows on this early demo release: a solid RAC rock sound with melody and good vocals. The sound quality could have been better, but considering when it was recorded and that it was a demo only, it is more than reasonable. This is a unique chance to check out this band as the cassette has been impossible to find for years already.

LEGION. My nowe pokolenie - CD

The classic Polish RAC band's second release from 1994. While the first was just a demo, this came out as a proper cassette album on Fan Records, the label that also launched bands like Konkwista 88 and Honor. On this album is much more nationalist rock sounding than traditional punk-influenced RAC, lots of slower instrumental parts in the songs.

LEITKULTUR. Heimat ist nicht nur ein wort - CD

Band with Jens of Sturmwehr and Sturm 18 members, their second album after "Der wurzeln beschnitten". Leitkultur can however not be compared to the two aforementioned bands at all. Leitkultur brings modern identity rock, with touches of goth and somewhat bombastic, clearly influenced by the sound of Rahowa. Different from your run-of-the-mill RAC band, but it all fits: the vocals and excellent musicianship. The result is impressive.

LEGITIME AUTO-DEFENSE. s/t - LP

Skinhead band from the Alsace region of France who have large passed under the radar. The songs on this album were recorded in 21009 & 2010, and have now been released on vinyl LP only by Bords De Seine, 250 copies have been pressed. Now, on to the band's music: their is no constant in their sound, some songs are Oi!, others more punk, then you have reggae tracks, a French army-style chant, a bit of rock'n'roll,... It's as if they just had a great time fooling around in the studio and recorded anything they could think of, good or bad, relevant or not. And there are some decent songs on the LP, but a better idea would have been to just take the best 3 - 4 songs and press those on a 7". The LP is collectible admittedly, and will ensure the band will always be remembered, but it'll never become a French classic.

OI! AINT DEAD VOL.2. Compilation 10" LP (White)

Four of today's best Oi! bands are each featured with 2 songs on this 10" mini-album. The songs are not exclusive, they were already featured on 7"s in the Rebellion Records / Pirates Press Records / Longshot Records "Under one flag" series, except for the Lion's Law songs which have not yet released before. This is Oi! in all its facets, from Bishops Green '77 punk style, Razorblade's heavy and aggressive sound to Lion's Law and Razorcut which are more classic Oi!-like. All great tracks without exception!

SKINHEAD! IT'S AN ASIAN LEAGUE VOL.2. Compilation - CD

The title says it all of course. Second installment in the series of compilation of Oi! bands from the far east, with this time Cropped Men (Japan), The Botox (Thailand), Booted Cocks (Japan), The Exsenadors (Philippines), The Island Of Skins (Thailand), Moonstomp (Indonesia), V.S. Honour (Japan), The Bois (Singapore), Attacking Forces (Korea), No Escape (Japan), Rentenir (Indonesia), Steeltoe solutions (Malaysia) and Firey Jak (Indonesia). Most bands are quite OK, and the styles vary from melodic to hard Oi! to ska even. Comes with a big booklet with lyrics, photos of all the bands and band contacts, and includes the OBI strip.

SMART VIOLENCE. Herkunft & identitat - CD

Hard and rough skinhead rock from Germany, their first proper full length after their "Hard hitting skinhead rock" demo CD from 2013. A mix of Oi! and RAC sound-wise and even some punk and metal, but hard hitting is a constant in their sound. Their lyrics deal with the skinhead way of life, left wing poseurs, heritage and street-level politics without going into extremes. 14 tracks, 3 of which are in English.

V.S. HONOUR / FIREY JACK. Songs for hoolys - CD

Split album between the Japanese ska band V.S. Honour from Japan and the Oi! band Firey Jak from Indonesia. V.S. Honour play really good 2-tone era ska with a slight 60's influence. Firey Jak on the other hand is a casual band playing catchy and singalong Oi!, obviously football chant style.

The punk rock band SPIRIT OF THE PATRIOT has finished recording sets of tracks for 2 split albums. One album will be with Germany's ABTRIMO and the other will be with MAX RESIST. The band now has T-shirts for sale at www.hcstreetwear.net. 

The 7" "Guerra civil" of Brazilian band BOTA GASTA, a limited edition of 150 copies, is available still, albeit the last few copies. It features 3 tracks, and comes with a lyrics insert, both in Portuguese and English. For ordering info, contact ediciones_limitadas@yahoo.es. 

THE GONADS and Neville Staple are part of the alternative England World Cup anthem, "The revenge of World Cup Willie" by English Pride. The video can be found at youtu.be/BZZaqViUWgc. The Gonads headline London's 12 Bar Club on 31st May, a night of "Geezer rock"!

The new SKANADS song "Rude boy's on the rise" will be released as a 7inch vinyl single by Randale in May, backed with the Girls Next Door song "Too Late". The band has also started working on an album.

After doing a long run of shows RAZORCUT are starting work on a new 7 inch and then a full length album. They hope to tour Europe in 2015. The line up now features Brod and Al from Marching Orders.

Vulture rock need a photo of Snix. A real original photo. No copies. It's for a Snix 7" with rare tracks. The band stopped their emails. I sold all my originals. Preferably a photo with Jack, the second bass player. I will send your photo back , along with some copies of the 7". Any help needed !!! Really needed !!!
